Abstract: | The report summarises previous work at Stag Creek, on the west end of the El Sherana grid. BMR completed a SP survey west of El Sherana in 1962, which located a series of anomalies over carbonaceous shales. UUNL subsequently drilled 166 wagon drill holes into anomalies in the Stag Creek area. Logs and hole locations are available (included in report), but no uranium mineralisation was reported, and no U analyses are available. Gold was not analysed. In 1988, CHJV completed a 40m x 40m grid covering much of the area. The SP anomalies are believed to be inadequately tested, and a ground magnetic survey is recommended. This would be followed up by drilling. |
