Abstract: | Rock chip sampling for Au was completed in the Scinto 6 open cut in 1985. All values for the nine samples taken were below 0.1ppm Au. The open cut is not prospective for gold, but sampling along the Scinto Fault is recommended. It is believed that all uranium mineralisation at Scinto 6 was secondary. As a result, little gold was expected to be deposited with the uranium. |
