Abstract: | The report describes a programme of drilling, mapping and sampling completed in May- June, 1987. The work was undertaken in conjunction with geotechnical studies to clear the area of mineralisation so that it could be used for location of infrastructure for the proposed development at Coronation Hill. The site was in a valley about 900m west of the proposed Coronation Hill open cut. The area was geologically mapped at 1:2500 scale, outrcrops and two trenches were chip sampled, and 45 percussion drill holes were drilled and sampled. No significant mineralisation was noted. |
