Abstract: This is the final report for Exploration License (EL) 22152 which was granted to Otter Gold NL on September 20th 2001 and surrendered on the 3rd of December 2004. Activities during the tenure of the licence focussed on remote discrimination of targets. 2001-2002: First year work involved remote discrimination of targets. Conventional methods (eg available aeromagnetic data, geochemistry and regolith interpretations) were used to target anomalism. Areas targeted within the region were not within the boundaries of EL 22152. 2002-2003: A review of all the open file data was completed by Newmont Exploration staff. The data review will aid in targeting within these Licences and for future planning of programmes. Site access problems have been encountered with the Central Land Council (CLC) requiring an ILUA (Indigenous Land Use Agreement) to be signed before access will be granted. 2003-2004: Work within exploration licence 22152 focussed on geological and geophysical interpretation and desktop mapping. This work formed part of a new structural interpretation of the Tanami region by Dr. Brett Davies of Resource Services Group ('RSG'), a geological consulting group. The exercise is a major strategic review of the Tanami Region for Newmont. Data review and interpretation continued for the gathering of information for the 2004 budget. Within EL 22152 one rockchip and one BCL were taken. The BCL returned 0.00045ppm Au. The rockchip did not return any gold values but was analysed for a suite of other elements.
