Abstract: | EL 10359 is part of the Winnecke Project, which is situated in Central Australia about 65 kilometres northeast of Alice Springs. Access is provided via the Stuart Highway and Ross Highway. EL 10359 was granted on 6 December 2001 to Tanami Gold Exploration (TENL) and surrendered on 11 November 2004. Exploration carried out by TENL during this period is the subject of this report. TENL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL (TGNL), a publicly listed company. Exploration consisted of reconnaissance soil and rockchip sampling over the Whistleduck Gabbro and regional rockchip traverses.119 rock chips and 35 soil samples were taken over the life of the tenure. No anomalous gold values were returned and the tenement was recommended for relinquishment. |
