Abstract: | During the reporting period, EL was targeted for shear load-hosted precious metal and sediment-hosted base-metal deposits. Regional geochemical samples were collected over the target area. A total of 90 samples were collected from 45 locations. Samples were analysed for copper, lead and nickel which yielded elevated levels. This led to the follow-up collection of 11 magnetic fraction soil samples. It confirmed the original values obtained but failed to extend the potential of anomaly. Overall, it appears that there is little potential for a significant bedrock mineral deposit, and the anomaly is thought to be related to the elevated metal values due to surface enrichment. |
