Final report for EL 2372 (MacFarlane's Peak) for the period 13-09-1993 to 08-08-2002

Abstract

EL 2372 has been explored for gold mineralisation. This report summarised all the exploration activities that were carried out during the life of tenure (1993-2002). There were substantial exploration activities carried out during this time. These included geophysical surveys, sampling programs and drilling programs. Several targets were selected for follow up work, but generally results were poor. Final interpretations of the exploration data collected up to date concluded that the area has a very low potential for gold mineralisation. No exploration work was completed since the year 2000.
