| Abstract: | Work involved desktop compilations, acquisition and processing of remote sensing data, open file data reviews and one field trip to the area. Encouraging gold results reported by previous explorers indicate that the project area is prospective for locating Granites - Tanami style gold mineralisation. A series of GIS maps were produced showing the distribution of major platforms, digital elevation models, paleo- drainage features, induration styles and distribution of regolith thickness. |
