| Abstract: | The areas were taken up to explore for diamonds as the aeromagnetic data showed that some of the magnetic features could be kimberlites or lamproites. Access agreement was negotiated with the traditional owners for some of the tenements, and no groundwork was accomplished during the first year. After further consideration of the available aeromagnetic data the targets were down graded and the tenements relinquished. |
