Title: Technical report on EL 10228 Bluey's Silver project, July 2001 to July 2002
Title Holder / Company: Silver Standard Australia
Report id: CR2002-0175
Tenure: EL10228
Year: 2002
Author: Carthew, S
Abstract: The soil geochemical anomaly and the discovery outcrop of Ag-Cu-Pb-Sb is found in a complex nappe structure. Work during the first year of tenure included RC drilling and rock chip sampling. Potential ore grade mineralisation is present in surface outcrop and shallow drill holes at two localities within the prospect - adjacent to the discovery outcrop and about drill holes BSA -1. Significant silver values averaged 680 g/t Ag were recovered from sample of mineralised and brecciated dolomite. Anomalous zones up to 9m width of Ag and associated base metals are recognised . Further exploration should be carried out to find economic mineralisation.
