Abstract: An intense magnetic anomaly was outlined over the Johnnies Reward ironstone. Eleven targets have been selected and followed up by drilling and sampling programs. Copper and gold mineralisation have been delineated within the licence area. It is bound by the Johnnies Reward Cu-Au prospect to the west and The Pinnacles copper workings to the east. Outcrop with anomalous gold and copper rock chip geochemistry occurs intermittently for 3km north of the main Johnnies Reward prospect while The Pinnacles oxidised copper occurences have a strike length of 2.5 km. The is compelling evidence to suggest that the Cu-Au mineralisation occurring at Johnnies Reward may belong to the same family of Fe-oxide (Cu -Au) deposits as the Ernest Henry located within Mt Isa Block.
