Abstract: The exploration program began in 1999 with initial reconnaissance traverses incorporating opportunistic surficial sampling (lag and rockchip). A program of broad spaced aircore drilling was also completed to develop an understanding of the regolith, depth of cover and nature of the bedrock across the license. Systematic 500 x 500m lag coverage was also instigated across the shallower portions of the Icebox EL following the initial reconnaissance. In 2000 the majority of the work program was focussed on aircore drilling to assess various magnetic targets under deeper cover. A minor ground magnetic survey was carried out to assist in this targeting. The 500 x 500m systematic lag and CRC coverage was also continued. A limited program of regional vacuum drilling was also conducted. The latter two programs were designed to provide a coherent geochemical and geological picture over regions of subcrop and shallow cover.
