Abstract: | The report presents all exploration activities and their results during the licence life. Previous exploration data highlighted the good prospectivity of the southeastern portions of the tenement and an area that returned anomalous values of 7-80 ppb au in RAB samples and anomalous geochemistry from air core drilling. During the first stage of the exploration within the SEL 8335 boundary gridding and geological traversing were carried out. A first pass of geophysical interpretation was completed and selected areas for further exploration including RAB drilling, soil and rock chip sampling. RAB drilling returned the best result of 350 ppb Au. Contours of the anomalous gold results delineated a broad north-westerly trend to the anomalism. The trend is roughly coincident with he inferred margin of the Pine Creek Shear Zone. Base on a 5ppb Au cut off, the anomalous zone was approximately 1.6 km wide and 2.2 km long. Anomalous results of As, Cu, Pb and Zn also reflect a NW trend to the zone of elevated gold results. |
