Third annual report for exploration licences EL 8012, EL 9477, EL 9759, EL 9992, SEL 10188 6th July 2000 to 5th July 2001

Abstract

Exploration work was focussed on EL9477 where a little or no sampling has occurred and on drill testing surface sampling targets from the previous year. No significant gold anomalies were detected from analysis of the surface ZARG samples from the EL9477. The helicopter supported regional sampling program over EL9759 and SEL10188 did not returned significant results. A posthole program includes highs of 4,8,12 and 14ppb Au. These results were not classed as significant and no further work was undertaken. In the Monarch (SEL10188) a detailed review of the data available (relogging of previously drilled core and rock chips) and five potential targets were identified as aircore drilling program. A review of geophysical data from regional aeromagnetic survey completed over the central Desert JV that covered a portion of EL9477 and EL9759 was also carried out and a few anomalous zones were identified.
