Abstract: During the licence life gold exploration was conducted by Dominion Gold and Northern Gold. Work included digital data studies, rock chip sampling, regional soil sampling, MIM geochemical soil sampling and RAB drilling programs. Results from RAB drilling were disappointing with no gold assays greater then detection limit of 1ppb Au. The regional soil sampling identified a south southeast trending zone with highly anomalous arsenic soil geochemistry. The assay results returned peak arsenic value of 209 ppm with slightly elevated coincident value of 54 ppm Zn. The best result was 3.2 ppb Au, located west of the arsenic anomaly. The peak values obtained from MMI geochemical sampling were 1,660 ppb Au, with corresponding values of 24,200 ppm As, 19 ppm Ag, 4,780 ppm Zn, 655 ppm Cu and 2,470 ppm Pb. Multielement analysis returned peak values of 0.48 ppb Au and 5,5015 ppb Pb. Soil sampling program returned best values of 0.45 ppb Au, 1,070 Zn ppb and 2,145 ppb Pb. Low order gold values downgraded the licence potential to discover economic gold mineralisation.
