Title: EL 9375 Apocalypse, Final report on exploration activities completed on the period 15 May 1996 and the 26 March 2001
Title Holder / Company: Anglogold Australia

Tenure: EL9375
Year: 2001
Author: Large, P
Abstract: The report summarises exploration activities which were carried out during the licence life. Work completed during the first year of tenure involved the extension of geochemical coverage on the north trending magnetic linear high between the Brumby and Alligator prospects. Vacuum drilling results defined zones of gold anomalism along the eastern site of the tenement. During the second year work targeted a zone of scattered gold anomalism in bedrock defined by earlier work in the prospects. The results from sampling confirmed the scattered nature of bedrock gold anomalism in a 9 km long zone, trending north-south through the area. Work during the third year included costeaning, geochemical sampling, RC drilling and detailed airborne geophysical surveys. Peak value from the costeaning included 4m at 2.76 g/t Au. Results were disappointing from drilling with a peak value of 95 ppb Au. During the last two years of tenure no field work was carried out on the licence area.
