Final report for MCCs 1243-1244, 1249-1253 occidental reporting group, Venus leases

Abstract

The area has been subject to review of pre-existing airborne magnetic surveys and further explored by localised ground magnetic survey, geochemical vacuum drilling on a regional scale and close spaced vacuum drilling over the most obvious magnetic anomaly. Follow up using RAB magnetic drilling has been performed on the more prospective of the two geographically separate lease groups. Results were disappointing and further exploration was not justified.
