Title: Final Report for EL 9661 for the period 23 October 1996 to 29 December 2000
Title Holder / Company: Normandy Tennant Creek
Report id: CR2001-0110
Tenure: EL9661
Year: 2001
Author: Orton, V
Abstract: Exploration conducted includes regional aeromagnetic survey, rock chip sampling programs and drilling. Best results obtained from sampling at Explorer 85 during first year were 235 ppb Au, 87 ppm Cu and 66 ppm Bi. During the second year the indication of the magnetic anomaly was confirmed. The best results from rock chip sampling over magnetic anomaly (Trinity Prospect) located in the far northwest of the lease were 15 ppb Au and 91 ppm Bi. Aeromagnetic survey was used to refine magnetic modeling over Trinity magnetic anomaly with possible large ironstone at 200m depth. Modeling of the main magnetic anomaly striking eastwest through the center of the tenement indicated source at >300 m depth.
