| Abstract: | A significant resource of good quality magnesite has been discovered on nearby exploration licence 9501. The licence was applied for with the aim to locate a good quality dolomite and limestone for use as flux in the proposed furnace process to manufacture magnesium metal, but due to a change of proposed treatment process the area was surrendered. No new data has been collected but compilation of previous exploration indicates that carbonate underlies a central and nothern portion of the licence at shallow depth. |
