EL 7933 Highway Final Report for the period 4 June 1993 to 12 December 2000

Abstract

EL 7933 (Highway) is part of the Brocks Junction Group of tenements which lie south of the Brocks Creek Gold Mine processing plant. The tenement is located immediately south of the Brocks Creek Gold Mine treatment facilities and north of the Hayes Creek Roadhouse. The tenement was granted to the Cyprus Gold Corporation on the 3rd June 1993. Over the course of the seven years of tenure the tenement has been managed by Cyprus (3rd June 1993 - 30th April 1994), Solomon Pacific Gold (1st May 1994 - June 1996), Acacia Resources Limited (June 1996 - Nov 1999) and AngloGold Australasia (Nov 1999 - 12th Dec 2000). Due to a lack of encouraging results and the closure of the Brocks Creek Mine and treatment plant, AngloGold surrendered EL 7933 on the 12th December 2000. This report details all exploration undertaken within the licence between the 3rd of June 1993 and the 12th December 2000.
