Title Holder / Company: | Normandy NFM |
Report id: | CR2001-0003 |
Tenure: | EL9219 |
Year: | 2000 |

Abstract: | This report describes the exploration activity and results obtained from the licence area during the fifth and final year of tenure. References to the relevant company reports are given regarding previous exploration activities. Work undertaken during the final year comprised gridding, lag, rock chip sampling and soil sampling within the vicinity of the Adnera Creek anomaly, with some broad spaced reconnaissance lag towards the NW of the tenure. A peak value of 1.7 ppb Au was obtained in this program with low As and Cu. Results around the main Adnera Creek anomaly were initially encouraging, defining a 2km long and up to 100m wide zone of 1ppb Au soil values with a maximum of 12.7 ppb Au. This was not confirmed by lag sampling in the same area, which revealed a more erratic anomaly with a total strike length of 1.6 km, split into three main zones with anomalies over 1.6 ppb Au and peak values between 4 and 21 ppb. |
