Abstract: | During the reporting period Rio Tinto reviewed the geological settings of the project area and found that the most prospective unit within the Mount Rigg Group is interval one of the Dook Creek Formation. The upper 600m of the Dook Creek Formation consists of cyclical shallow water sediments. The only potential for large startabound Zn mineralisation in the upper Dook Creek Formation is within wrench basins along major fault systems (eg the Bulman Fault). To date no wrench basins have been identified in the Bulman area. No fieldwork was carried out. |
