Abstract: The NW Breaden project is located 7 kms north-northwest of Bluebush Bore on Suplejack Station. A review of geological geochemical and aeromagnetic data obtained by previous explorers resulted in the selection of four target zones. These target zones were tested for the possibility that low order, gold geochemical anomalies were derived from weak primary gold mineralisation overlying more substantial consealed mineralisation. The work involved a Rotary Airblast drilling programme consisting of 108 holes for a total of 2895m blade and 191m hammer drilling, a survey of additional grid lines, siting and pegging drillhole locations, ground magnetic traverses, soil sampling and removing rubbish from the site. Each of the target areas was characterised by a paucity of sulphides and quartz veins. Samples of 5m composites, bottom of hole and standards were assayed. Results were uniformly low, with the best gold result being 52ppb. the potential for mineralisation is therefore considered to be very low.
