Abstract: The report describes exploration activities carried out on the relinquished portion of the licence between 1996 and 2000. The primary exploration target is unconformity-related, vein-type uranium deposits similar to the nearby Ranger, Jabiluka, Koongarra and Nabarlek deposits. Exploration work undertaken between 1996 and 1998 included an airborne survey, reconnaissance geological mapping, ground follow-up of an airborne anomaly, stream geochemical sampling including bulk sampling for diamonds and RAB drilling. There were no results of significance from the limited amount of exploration work completed. One airborne radiometric anomaly was defined and followed-up and a low order BLEG gold anomaly was located within Nimbuwah basement adjacent to dolerite. Neither warranted any further investigation. The details of this work are also documented in previous reports on EL 734. No further work work was carried out during the 1999 field season in the relinquished area.
