Title: Annual report for the Western Tanami Project for the calender year 1999

Year: 2000
Abstract: Exploration activities were carried out on the EL's 8803 and 8999, including soil sampling, composite rock chip sampling, some RAB drilling and ground magnetic surveys. Soil sampling highlighted three areas of anomalism. These were followed up with infill sampling and returned 155 ppb Au within EL 8999 and 3.6 ppb Au within EL 8803. A number of weak to moderately anomalous gold results were received from an area of north northwest striking shears and quartz veins in EL 8803. The peak values were 5.6 ppb Au in lag and 14.5 ppb Au in rock chip samples. One RAB drill hole returned a significant intersection of continuous downhole anomalism (25m @ >5ppb Au from 12m. Prospect exploration revealed at Bondi Syenite weak intensity gold anomalism in the northern half of the area (up to 3.1ppb Au over area of 500m X 200m). A coincident arsenic anomaly (3 to 15 ppm As) was defined over an area of 900m X 500m. At 90 Mile Prospect soil sampling indicated very weak anomalism up to 1.5 ppb Au coincident with defined lag and rock chip sampling anomalism. Reconnaissance has not been started on the EL's 8593 or 8825 due to CLC restrictions.
