Annual report on MCN 5006, MCN 5007, MCN 5008, MCN 5009 and MCN 5013 for year ending 4 January 2000

Abstract

Work done during the reporting period included desktop study of previous exploration data, followed by a series of rock chip sampling and panning of numerous samples over the tenements. These results showed several new areas where positive gold mineralisation was recorded with a high assay of 3.8 g/t. Two areas on MCN 5009 indicate 2 zones of gold mineralisation, one near surface and one some 20 m below surface. A third area some 300m to the northwest of the above zones have resulted in high values up to 20 g/t. Available data suggest the gold vein zones appear of 4-6 m in depth. Further drilling is required to establish the boundaries of each prospect.
