Abstract: | The Colt Licence is located in 55km SSW of the Tennant Creek township. Exploration in this area is targeting Tennant Creek-style ironstone hosted Au-Cu deposits. Work undertaken over the relinquished portion of EL 9431 has included the reprocessing of regional aeromagnetic data, a regional magnetics interpretation, a regolith mapping programme, rock chip sampling, thin section analysis, regional RAB drilling, an aerial magnetics and radiometrics survey and a gravity survey. Results have shown that the 45 relinquished blocks from EL 9431 are not considered prospective to host Tennant Creek style Au-Cu-Bi mineralisation. |
