dc.description.abstract77 infill heavy mineral samples were collected in areas where previous reconnaissance samples recovered kimberlitic garnet. 15 samples contained chromites of a basaltic characteristic and are attributed to the Antrim Plateau basalts. A singular garnet of kimberlitic affinity was obtained and suggests a probable secondary host rock. A singular magnetic anomaly was also sampled with negative results.en_US
