Final report for exploration licence no 8715 Tanami District, Northern Territory

Abstract

Acquired aeromagnetic was imaged and interpreted. Regional RAB drilling was conducted along 6 lines and obtained some low base metal anomalism. Ground Magnetics was acquired over the rise lines. In addition a 154 hole vacuum Drill program was completed. All results can be located in the previous annual reports that are open filed. Most of the tenement is covered by a thin veneer of Cainozoic sediments and are underlain by non deformed lower granite and foliated gneisses. Apparent hydrothermal alteration assemblages have been noted especially in the Green Dragon area. Vacuum results indicate some low Zn anomalism.
