| Abstract: | The tenement was initially evaluated by aerial photography and 16 stream sediment samples were taken, with one sample containing a microdiamond and another a chromite grain. Follow up sampling consisted of nine samples only contained a sample with a microdiamond. During year 4 of tenure a joint venture was formed with BHP who conducted an aerial Geotem survey of the 9 blocks then held. The survey identified the conductive Mainoru Formation of the Roper Group, but failed to locate conductive lithologies of the underlying McArthur Group sediments. |
