| Abstract: | An aerial magnetic survey, together with the inspection of TM imagery and aerial photography was conducted and was prompted by the discovery of kimberlite garnets in reconnaissance samples obtained in 1995-96. Heavy mineral samples were collected in response to two of the garnets as well as magnetic and aerial photographic anomalies. A total of 15 samples were collected, with one results (negative) obtained, the remainder results being outstanding and will be reported on next year. |
