| Abstract: | The ground magnetic surveys only revealed shallow sourced anomalies over outcropping ironstone. A soil sampling program (745 samples) revealed strong gold anomalism in proximity to the outcropping ironstones. Follow up did not repeat the initial results. The anomaly was on the crest of a steep hill and it is thought that this was because of sampling difficulties on the scree slope. 1 RC drill hole tested the Iron Mountain Ironstone. Alteration intersected but no significant mineralisation. |
