Abstract: The airborne magnetic survey conducted over EL's 7201, 7202 and 7816 outlined several linear and circular features. Ground magnetics were undertaken over the interpreted extension of the Emu Fault and over eight of the circular features (? kimberlite intrusives). Two of the circular features were followed up by five percussion drill holes. The source of one anomaly (anomaly 4) was not identified as drilling had to be abandoned. Anomaly 10 was interpreted to be a result of basalt. In addition, 245 stream sediment, 288 soil and 7 rock chip samples were collected. Anomalous Mn and Zn valves were obtained. Eight percussion drill holes totalling 722 m and 1 diamond drill hole were completed to test for base metal values. Elevated Cu and Zn values were encountered (28 m at 149 ppm Cu and 6 m at 149 ppm Zn) in a weakly pyritic shale. An aeromagnetic-radiometric survey flown over EL's 7201 7202 and 7816 totalling 6430 line km at 500 m line spacing and 10000 m tie line spacing. 1001 line kilometres QUESTEM were flown by Aerodata on a line spacing of 1000 m tie lines 10000 m and mean clearance 120 m. No work was undertaken on EL 7854 or EL 7855.
