| Abstract: | In the first year of tenure 1:5000 scale mapping was completed during which some 35 rock chip samples were collected. A maximum value of 0.47g-t Au was obtained from the old Renate Workings. To determine the subsurface potential 158 vacuum drill holes were drilled. Peak values obtained included 385ppb Au, 25ppm Cu, 121ppm Zn and 8.09 % Fe. The peak gold value was followed up by 3 RAB holes totalling 153m. The results were negative. The surface anomaly being attributed to hydromorphic enrichment. |
