Abstract: | BHP examined the licence for its manganese and copper, lead, zinc potential. Work completed included soil sampling, airborne GEOTEM, airborne magnetics, ground TEM and 2 RC holes. 4 areas in total were soil samples. At Kilgour South anomalous Cu-Pb-Zn values were obtained. No other geochemical anomalies were outlined. Follow up of airborne GEOTEM anomalies downgraded these anomalies. The two RC holes drilled to test the manganese potential of the Cretaceous proved negative. |
