| Abstract: | Exploration technique used was hand drilling samples and then panning. This work was carried out in the area adjoining and south of Frances Creek. Samples of matrix from a conglomerate exposed in a road cutting were crushed and panned yielding fine gold to 50um in diameter. Samples from the south of Frances Creek gave variable results ranging from trace to 2g-tonne. |
