Abstract: Work completed in semi-regional interpretation based on BMR aeromagnetics, gravity and mapping, and photo interpretation. Helicopter reconnaissance of the north of the licence failed to highlight any outcrop. Surface regolith consisted of Aeolian sand cover and rare fragment of chert derived from the Gum Ridge Formation. Some minor sinkholes were noted. 15 vertical RAB holes (1049m) were completed in the west of the licence. Of these holes only 6 intersected basement. The sequence intersected consisted of <3m aeolian sand cover over an interval of alluvial clays and gravels which overlies the Gum Ridge Formation. The basement material intersected was a very weathered possible volcanic unit. Elevated base metal values were obtained from all holes that intersected basement.
