Abstract: | A 435 vacuum drill programme on MCC0790 outlined 2 areas of elevated gold geochemistry (maximum 85ppb Au). These areas were also associated with elevated Cu-Bi values. An 8 hole RAB programme totalling 304m failed to reproduce the gold values but returned interesting copper values (0.32% Cu and 522ppm Cu) from anomaly 1. The copper values were probably due to supergene enrichment. Drilling on MCC0791 and 0792 consisted of 408 vacuum holes totalling 2498.4m and 7 RAB holes totalling 348m. Drill results all returned elevated values (maximum 0.13% Cu; 0.17ppm Au and 0.02% Bi). Work on the remaining tenements consisted mainly of geological mapping and rock chip sampling. |
