| Abstract: | 4 rock chip samples collected in Explorer 218 failed to return any significant anomalous values. At Explorer 218 8 rock chip samples were collected, 2 assays were > 4ppb Au, with a maximum assay of 15ppb Au being returned. Work at the Extension leases included mapping, rock chip sampling, 321 vacuum drill holes totalling 1573.4m, 5 RAB holes totalling 303m, with ground magnetic and gravity surveys. RAB drilling intersected gold mineralisation associated with a shear zone. A maximum intercept of 3m at 22g-t Au was returned. Follow up to include RC drilling. A similar programme was completed at the Colombard leases including 375 vacuum drill holes totalling 2209. 7m and 15 RAB holes totalling 938m. No economic mineralisation was intercepted. Broad areas of anomalism were highlighted associated with sheared and altered siltstone which may be related to deeper mineralisation. |
