Abstract: | Work on MLC0048 consisted of 3.2 line km gridding, ground magnetic survey, 224 vacuum drill holes totalling 2512.8m and 8 RAB holes totalling 450m. The vacuum drill programme outlined a coincident Au (maximum 12ppb) Cu (maximum 158ppm) Bi (maximum 14ppm) anomaly associated with a previously unidentified 170 x 40m ironstone. RAB drilling (8 holes totalling 450m) failed to enhance the anomaly. 6.6km ground magnetics and 2 phases of RAB drilling were completed at MLC's 0066 and 0067. This was following up a vacuum bedrock anomalism delineated in 1991. Drilling delineated a maximum assay of 0.61g-t Au. The presence of ironstones and low level of anomalism was confirmed. MCC0181 had the following work completed-4.5 line km gridding, ground magnetics, 432 vacuum drill holes totalling 2378m, 7 RAB holes totalling 392m and 2 RC holes. Vacuum drilling confirmed the outcrop belonged to the Warramunga Group producing a coincident Au-Cu-Bi anomaly (maximum 29ppb Au, 1464ppm Cu and 68ppm Bi). |
