Abstract: 1: 1 000 scale mapping was completed over the Porphyry Hill South area. Correlation of results obtained from earlier work show high Au-Cu-Bi values are related to sheared, haematite associated with the porphyry-sediment contact. 4 angled vacuum drill holes test a large Pb anomaly 400m northwest of the ridge. Anomalous values (maximum 8ppb Au and 470ppm Pb) appear to be associated in faulted-fractured sediments invaded by lamprophyre, quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes and altered by hydrothermal fluids bearing Fe-Au-Cu-Bi.
