The tenement was previously explored under EL2368 by vacuum, RAB and RC drilling and located highly anomalous gold values. The area was then successfully applied for under EL6938. Initial exploration was continued at Officer Hill with RC drilling, however results were generally disappointing, subsequent evaluation along strike returned anomalous results in gold and arsenic suggestive of potentially economic mineralisation.en_US
Subsequent RAB, RC and diamond drilling intersected sporadic subeconomic intersections, ie 1 to 2m@+-1g/t Au although 1 intersection @33g/t Au was made. In the final year 810 soil samples were acquired and assayed for mobile metal ion.en_US
Stratigraphic units explored include Madigan Beds, Davidson Beds and Blake Beds.en_US
