Abstract: | A magnetic target extending east-west from the White Devil Mine has been probed for by diamond drilling at depth. One corehole to 451.4m was completed but interpreted magnetic ironstone was not intersected. Downhole magnetic probing suggests that there is no magnetic ironstone present in the immediate vicinity of the hole. The hole was selectively sampled but all assays returned were insignificant. The cause of the magnetic anomaly has not yet been established. Part of a regional helimag survey covered the tenement and confirmed the presence of the magnetic ridge. |
