Abstract: | Follow up open hole percussion drilling was conducted on the Big Heart and Desert Gold prospects. At Big Heart, an ironstone body was intersected in contact with a sheared chloritized porphyry, only minor copper anomalism was obtained. At the Desert Gold prospect the ironstone body at the sediment-porphyry contact dips at 40 degrees to the south, results were poor with occasional low anomalous copper values intersected. In addition five rock chip samples were obtained from scattered ironstone subcrop, no significant results were obtained. |
