Abstract: | Interpretation of the previous year's drilling results was undertaken. It was necessary to reconcile the much lower grades obtained in holes EMB 1 and 2 than inferred from nearby hole 920 drilled by TEP. EMB2 contained weaker mineralisation than anticipated. The lower portions of the intersection contains the most lead, something not indicated from assay results from nearby hole 920. Current compilation and interpretation suggests that a fault or shear has significantly reduced the mineralised section tergeted in EMB2. There is a possibility that an oblique fault has resulted in the displacement of the copper rich footwall zone stratigraphically below the lead rich zone. No new ground work was undertaken during year 3. |
