Title: EL 6640 Batchelor 2nd annual report for year ending 15-07-1992.
Title Holder / Company: Compass Resources

Report id: CR1992-0435
Tenure: EL6640
Year: 1992
Abstract: During the second year of tenure RAB, RC Percussion and Diamond drilling were undertaken on the Area 55 Prospect with an additional 27 hole RAB programme at the Triangle Prospect. Drilling at the Triangle Prospect confirmed the existence of a nickel anomaly but failed to generate any results warranting follow up. The RAB programme on the Area 55 Prospect defined a long Cobalt anomaly (max 3030ppm Co) in the south and southeast of the prospect. RC Percussion drilling intersected anomalous Cu (Max 85%) Pb (Max 16.4%) Zn (Max 1.21%) Co (Max 2.75%) and Ni (1.48% Max) values, as did the diamond drilling. Diamond drilling results for Pb (Max 6660ppm) were no where near as elevated as the RC Percussion results.
