Year: 1990
Abstract: Structural features reported include: Coronet fault.
8 gossan and rock chip samples were taken from around Coronet Shaft including dump samples. The mineralised zone appears to be about 2m wide though mineralisation may extend beyond this. Results were encouraging. East of Kellys Lode there are numerous thin zones of gossanous outcrop and float which are commonly elevated in base metals. 9 rock chip-gossan samples were taken east and south of the Kellys Lode but did not return any significant values. 10 RC Percussion drill holes were sunk testing a gossanous area. 7 of them intersected disseminated sulphide mineralisation. The zones were 1-1.5m thick.
