Abstract: The results of trenching show the potential for economic grades and width of gold mineralisation over a substantial strike length. Subsequent trenching at Tower Prospect provided mixed results. There exist high grades of gold associated with a highly ferruginous gossan (1m wide). The wall rock however assay 0.1-0.78 g-t at distances of 3-4m from the Gossan. The Woolgni West Lake appears to be a 1.5m wide weakly mineralized quartz reef, with pods-shoot of high grade mineralisation. These high grade shoots are structurally controlled and associated with cross faulting of the lode. The Woolgni East Works come within 100m of the West Lode. They consist of 3 east-west striking workings. For Woolgni East a resource estimate using Simpson's Rule was done. The results was approx. 150 000 t 2.7 g-t gold with a cutoff grade of 1 g-t and SG of 2.5 for oxidised material and for transitional sulphide material (from geochemical); Mining Management Services est. 280 000 t 2.3 g-t gold with cutoff of 0.5 g-t.
