Abstract: | The initial programme consisted of a lag sampling programme which outline several areas with anomalous geochemistry. The main anomaly was a broad zone of coincident Au-Bi anomalism trending NW-SW through the International and Susan line of workings (International anomaly-10000x400m). Many of the remaining anomalies were associated with wind blown contamination from the Peko or June Mine and the haul road. Anomalies were followed up by a soil sampling programme. This in the main emphasised a zone to the west of the June Mine. Anomalous values were further followed up by RC percussion drilling, RAB drilling and vacuum drilling. The results though not significant warrant follow up. |
