EL 5676 Brocks Creek South annual report.

Abstract

This report was prepared by Mining Management Services Pty Ltd for E and K Hore and Drift ield Mining Pty Ltd, the tenement owners of EL 5676. The report summarises exploration work carried out by E Wore and Mining Management Services Pty Ltd on the tenement for the year ending 8 March 1989. The report was presented to the Northern Territory Department of Mines and Energy to fulfill the tenement owners annual reporting requirements. EL 5676 is located approximately 1km south of the main Erocks Creek and Zapopan Gold Mines. The area is approximately l35 kms SSE of Darwin, with its southern border immediately north of the bitumen Fountain Head road. The Cosmo-Howley Goldmine gas pipeline passes through the exploration licence area, The licence area covers part of the mature Howley Creek drainage system with broad alluvial flats and gentle gradients. Outcrop is restricted to several small exposures of dolerite dyke and one milky quartz vein outcrop.
